Employment and Training Association (EATA)

EATA provides comprehensive employment and training services throughout South Central Wisconsin. As one of the oldest private, non-profit, community-based organizations in the area, EATA operates and manages various federal, state, county and locally funded employment and training programs including:

WIOA Adult/Dislocated Worker Program 

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (regionally known as WorkSmart) helps job-seekers identify and access employment and training services that meet the hiring needs of businesses in South Central Wisconsin. EATA provides these services to dislocated workers, low-income adults, and employers.

WIOA Out of School Youth Program

Provides disadvantaged and low-income youth ages 16-24 with tools and services to help them overcome barriers to education, training, and employment.

Children First Program

Provides employment and training services to help unemployed and underemployed non-custodial parents meet their child support obligations.

Windows to Work Program

Offers cognitive-based intervention and job placement services to justice-involved individuals pre- and post-release from Oakhill and Fox Lake Correctional Institutions in South Central Wisconsin. 

FSET Re-Entry Program

Assists FoodShare recipients who are re-entering the community after incarceration with job placement, training, and supportive services.

Vocational Rehabilitation

EATA develops training services for people who are working with the State of Wisconsin’s Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR).
